Boston Real Estate

Boston is the capital city of Massachusetts and most heavily populated. It covers an area of around 89.63 square miles, consisting of 48.4 square miles of land and 41.2 square miles of water. The city itself is surrounded by the region known as Greater Boston and borders with cities and towns like Watertown, Cambridge, Somerville, Everett, Chelsea, and Winthrop.

Boston is famous for baked beans, clam chowder, and the location of the bar from the sitcom Cheers. The city’s marathon is one of the most celebrated events in the athletic calendar and was the site of one of the most tragic events in recent years. Fenway Park is also another sporting venue of note, as it is the oldest Major League Baseball stadium that remains standing in its original place and is home to the local’s favorites the Boston Red Sox. You will find the Berklee School of Music, Boston Symphony Orchestra, and Boston Museum of Fine Arts all within the city’s borders.

As many of the top universities not just in the United States, but the world, are based in Boston, it’s no surprise really that in 2017 in relation to innovation, the city had a fifth place in the world’s rankings. Whether it’s fine food you are after, culture, education, business opportunities, or open green spaces and healthy living, Boston offers it all and so much more.
