The city’s marathon is one of the most celebrated events in the athletic calendar and was the site of one of the most tragic events in recent years. Fenway Park is also another sporting venue of note, as it is the oldest Major League Baseball stadium that remains standing in its original place and is home to the local’s favorites the Boston Red Sox. You will find the Berklee School of Music, Boston Symphony Orchestra, and Boston Museum of Fine Arts all within the city’s borders.
As many of the top universities not just in the United States, but the world, are based in Boston, it’s no surprise really that in 2017 in relation to innovation, the city had a fifth place in the world’s rankings.
